Running and Cycling

Tell us something we might not know about you.

I used to have long hair.

What advice would you give someone just starting at Coyote?

Yep, CrossFit is difficult and challenging... and it doesn't really get easier.... you just get stronger, faster, and a more fit. So stick with it and be consistent.

Do you have any special memories/achievements during your time at Coyote?

My family and I moved to the area in 2015. The welcoming atmosphere and the friendships made with the members and coaches at the gym really helped my wife and I to connect to the community and make friends. Coyote and its members have been a blessing to us.

Has CrossFit affected your life outside of the gym?

Yes, I have developed friends and built relationships with members of the gym that now extend beyond the gym.

 

Tell us a little about yourself (family, job, sports, interests, etc.)

Husband to Laura for 24 years, father to Anna 18, Graham 15, and Owen 11; all of whom have spent time here at Coyote. I enjoy traveling, camping, going on adventures to see new places and experience new things.

What were your thoughts after your first WOD?

This work out about killed me.... I love it!

What were your goals when you joined Coyote?

Clean more than 200 lbs. get a ring muscle up and do an overhead squat

Have you achieved any of these goals?

I have achieved each of these goals and continue working towards new ones.

What is your favorite cheat meal?

Mint chocolate chip ice cream


What is your least favorite WOD?

Anything including air assault bike for calories
